I already posted this at my site droidsandewoks.com, but anyway, here is a look at my wooden Droids figures. They don't look like your standard Star Wars action figure, but their not supposed to either. Pretty much the only action that you can get out of them is that the heads turn! I have my own woodworking business so there's always lots of scrap to work with, and that's pretty much what all of these guys are made from. I enjoy making them because judging by Hasbro's activity, these are probably the only Droids figures that I will be getting any time soon! If you want to see any more pictures, at least of Darth Vader, they are up at my blog: http://www.theoldbrooklynwoodshop.com/blog.html

Jim these are so awesome!!! The detail is great and I love how the wood gives them that antique toy feel Cheesy Do you plan on making anymore characters or selling them? I would love to see a Chewie in there Grin Keep up the amazing work and thank you for posting...this is going in today's spotlight!!!

Thanks for the compliments! I will definitely be making more when I have the time. I certainly wouldn't mind making some to sell, as long as LFL wouldn't get mad at me for it!

Good stuff as always, jim.  When are you going to get to some Ewoks?!  By the way, customs are basically art, so legally you can sell them - when you get into mass producing an item though, you'll have a problem.  LFL and Hasbro tend not to bother customizers.

Here is my very first Ewoks character: Princess Kneesaa
The hood/cape was a bit of a challenge. I cut it to look like it's blowing in the wind. I have to say, I like how she turned out. Kneesaa has to be one of my favourite figures to date! If you want to see more pictures of her, they are over at my blog: http://www.theoldbrooklynwoodshop.com/blog.html

Here is a picture of my latest figure. I have decided that I am going to make a chess set or two out of these. King Gorneesh here will be the king for the villains side in the Ewoks chess game. If you want to see more pictures, they are at my blog: http://www.theoldbrooklynwoodshop.com/blog.html
