I just realized I never posted any of my customs here at EBN, shame on me! So let me update you on my adventures in SW Customization, it's been a fun journey so far and I can't wait to continue it with all of you Cheesy

This was the first custom I made and actually my last, since I was commissioned to do a replica for a friends daughter. She is a combination TCW Shakti and Rex to make my version of an adult Ahsoka. This Ashoka, is not to be taken lightly. She's very deceiving and inviting with her pink stripes and Hello Kitty insignia. Don't be fooled, like a black widow she draws you in and takes you out!!!

Next up is another part of the HK-SF, Commander Lotus. When he first joined the Special Forces he was a little sensitive about wearing pink, but now he's cool with it Wink I learned a great lesson in thinning paint while making him.

My 3rd custom was part of the HK-SF, but was an astromech for my friend wraithnine aka rasputin37. Definately one of my favorites, may I introduce R9-HK!

Most Astromechs go to the Coruscant Droid Spa when dinged or dirty, but not R2-113! Gettin' down & dirty on covert missions is his specialty. No time for that sissy spa stuff Smiley  The go to Droid for the HK-SF, he's always the first in to scout out the scene & relay data. Accustomed to night missions in dense terrain, R2-113 has a build up of pollen & other natural materials on his exterior. He has no decal & is programmed if captured by the enemy to erase all memory & completely shutdown. That is of course until re-activated by his Smart Key Wink Not bothered by his appearance and usually found hanging out with Wookies, this Little Buddy is a silent & stealthy Astro!!!

Welcome aboard - those are nice customs with some truly unique designs.  The pink astro reminds me of R2-KT, which is one of my favorite astro droids - I wish they'd make one for the CW line as well.   Wink

That's some really nice work, Jenn! Love that Ahsoka, that outfit really looks good on her.

The astromechs have a pretty darn good paint job. Not the easiest figures to paint, but you did very well!

Applying thin layers of paint is key to a succesful repaint. Glad you discovered this as well. But Lotus could benefit from even thinner layers. However, the paint apps themselves (and decal!) are very tidy.

Keep it up!

That's for sure, Jenn. But like I said, the tidy paint work is pretty impressive!

Jenn, you know I am a fan of your customs and collecting spirit in general. I just wanted to reply here that in a short amount of time I can really see progress in your work. I can't wait to see what you get your wookie loving hands on next.
