Darth Daddy here,

Just started a new Star Wars customizing blog with my 6 year old and wanted to share the blog with a forum full of Star Wars customizing fans.

Our new blog will showcase the customs we've made so far and some customs made by other artists that we picked up along the way. We'll try and provide you with some links to these talented artists in case you want to get some of their customs for your own and I will give you some tips on customizing for those of you who are just starting out. I only just started customizing so don't expect much, but I hope our presentation makes up for the lack of experience.

Here's the link: http://customsforthekid.blogspot.com/

Below are some customs you can find on the site:

Redesigned the layout of the site today.  Hope the new look will make it easier to navigate.  Also added a link to the Echo Base Forums. Enjoy!!

I think its great that you and your son customize together, I've actually helped my nephew make a few very simple customs - mostly part swapping without painting, so that he can still play with them.  Its cool that you started a blog with him - hopefully it will inspire other customizers to include their younger family members as well, its a fun hobby!

Thanks for sharing with us!!

I Think its awesome u and your son customize together! My daughter is almost 2 yrs old and she picks up my dremmel w/o battery and makes the buzzing grinding sound on her toys!! She is also notorious for stealing my brushes and trying to paint her toys lol!! So when she gets older i assume we will share the artistic side and maybe she will customize with me also.

great update and thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks David. You've definitely had an influence on my work.

Just posted the still shots for Vader's Clones on the blog.  I kept wanting to take another look at them when I was at work from my phone, but my mobile device won't play the videos.  I posted a few pictures for audience members who may be having the same issues.
