DESCRIPTION: Made a slave by Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia bides her time as the plan to free Han Solo comes together. The resourceful and courageous princess uses the very chains enslaving her to put an end to Jabba’s corrupt reign as the crime lord of Tatooine.

SCULPT: 6/10 - Overall, the sculpt is pretty good. However, there are a couple problems. The first problem is the soft goods skirt; it just looks wrong. Too poofy. Some people prefer soft goods and I understand why, but I think this case I think a plastic skirt piece would've made the figure look WAY better. The other problem is the figure's likeness, but Hasbro has never been very good at capturing Carrie Fisher's likeness so it's really no surprise.

ARTICULATION: 10/10 - 14 points of articulation; a HUGE improvement over previous releases of Leia in her slave outfit.

PAINT APS/DECO: 8/10 - The biggest problem with this figure's paint job is that the skin tone on the upper body doesn't match that of the alternate "sitting" legs. I also think her hair is a little on the dark side...hehe.

ACCESSORIES: 10/10 - Includes alternate "sitting" legs, staff, glass, and Build-a-Droid pack-in.

AVAILABILITY: 6/10 - I've seen this figure a few times, but whenever the RotJ wave hits she seems to be first to disappear, which is understandable since this is a pretty popular character!

FINAL SCORE: 40/50 - B-

IN CONCLUSION: Leia is a very cool figure, but she's got a few big flaws that hurt her final score. Hasbro had a great idea with the alternate "sitting" legs thing, and that's the mode I've been displaying mine in, since the soft goods skirt in the "standing" mode looks WAY worse than the mismatched paint in the "sitting" mode. This figure makes me really look forward to that new Jabba coming later this year, as well as the new Oola figure that's been rumored for a long time. A new Oola figure with swappable legs would be AWESOME.
